SCSPE Installs Officers and Directors at 2014
SC Engineering Conference

The South Carolina Society of Professional Engineers held its 2014 Annual Installation of Officers and Board Members at the Hilton Head Marriott Resort and Spa, in Hilton Head, SC in June.

The new Officers and Board Members were installed by Mark J. Golden, CAE, Executive Director of the National Society of Professional Engineers. Golden charged the officers and directors to represent the SCSPE membership in their respective positions.

Golden installed 2014-2015 President George H. McCall, PE of McCall & Son Inc. (Greenville, SC), who replaces Past President Marguerite McClam, PE, of Palmetto Engineering Consultants (Chapin, SC). Also, installed were Vice President David Rykard, PE (Hartesville, SC), Secretary/Treasurer Angela Musselwhite, PE of S&ME (Charleston, SC), and NSPE House of Delegates Representative Jim Justus, PE, of FEA, PC (Greenville, SC).

Board members elected to director positions include Mike Surratt, PE, Catawba Chapter, C. Steven Grant, PE, Spartanburg Chapter, Ola Skie, PE, Piedmont Chapter, Frank Iwanicki, PE, Charleston Chapter, and Ismail Ozbek, PE, Columbia Chapter.

The 2013-2014 elected Chapter Presidents are Rodger Culbreath, PE, Catawba, Alan Thomas, Coastal/Pee-Dee, Don Hallman, PhD., PE, Aiken, Andrew “Andy Rogers., PE, Columbia, Jarred Jones, PE, Charleston, and Clay Hendricks, PE, Piedmont.

President George H. McCall, PE looks forward to a succesful and productive year for SCSPE.
